Last week, we visited a new rainwear couple that we meet online. We where both excited to meet some new like minded friends and see their rainwear!
It was raining, so Kitty was wearing a red Børmax and black rubberboots from Friis & Co and I was wearing a black Swedish military raincoat and old black rubber boots. On the train, people where looking at our rainwear, but there was only smiles, no bad remarks.
We where quite easy to spot when we where picked up by car at the station. After a short drive, we arrived at a nice house in the suburbs of Copenhagen. We were warmly welcomed and got invited for coffee and a nice openly chat about ourselves, what we do, how we live and off course... raincoats!
We enjoyed talking to someone with someone more experience in the realm of rainwear. After we had coffee together, we took a look at their raincoat collection... They own more than 500 raincoats... It was "Raincoat Heaven"! We spend the rest of our time with trying on raincoats in almost any color and texture! Kitty tried more that fifty different raincoats! She especially fell in love with a dark green Børmax raincoat. She was so happy!
We both had a great time visiting the rainwear couple and we both learned a lot about raincoat brands, raincoat styles & different raincoat materials. We hope to visit "Raincoat Heaven" again!
nice to read your story. what a pleasant experience. also good to hear that there were no 'funny' remarks. I have a strong feeling that rain/rubberwear is very acceptabel these days. a very good picture...wish that I met you dressed like this in the street someday.
Very nice story, must have been like in heaven. Did thay have only raincoats or other thinfs in rubber and PVC? You both look great in your nice macs and rubberboots.
